I suppose this means that I should go grab a few copies or something. I haven't read the Willamette Week in years. I used to read the "other" section of their personals for the amusement value when I was in middle school and thus found it amusing.

I wonder if this will cause long-lost-acquaintances and/or random codebeggers to flock to me. I'd vastly prefer one over the other. Guess which.

In other news, Nordstrom's appears to have shoes that fit me on sale, so off I go. I'm also going to the Heather Alexander show at the Lucky Lab in Multnomah tonight. I suppose I could pick up the Willamette Week there. Whee.

Hmm . . . judging from a rant you put up a while ago about how this one girl you didn't know was asking for a code, and you told them about when you were younger and saved up for a long time in order to get a Nintendo . . .

. . . I'd have to say you like the random codebeggers! After all, who doesn't like teaching? :P Hehe. :)

Do you happen to know how often she (Heather) plays locally? I have seen mention of you going to her shows -usually a day late- and tend to miss out. So, I guess, I am asking if you know a place I can get this info, and if there is a place to get direction to this ‘Lucky Lab’ place.

She has a mailing list, which is how I find out about these things. I haven't heard for sure about the Lucky Lab for this month, but she's usually there every other Wednesday. It's in Multnomah Village, which is in SW Portland. I usually get there by taking Allen/Garden Home/Multnomah and turning left on 35th then right on Capitol at the stop sign and parking at the art center on the right because the Lucky Lab has almost no parking (the art center has general parking for the whole village).
