I figured out why I was having picture problems. (Sort of). I wasn't getting that menu, most likely because I have Java, Javascript and Cookies all turned off. One or another of those must be required for that function to work. So bah. Never mind then. (I thought it searched for words in your journal entry that you had associated with pictures. This seems reasonable since it asked for "keywords" and I never saw the pulldown menu.) *sigh*. Reality is rarely as cool as we think it will be...

Just enable the Session only cookies in IE and you'll be fine. You have to be logged in to have the drop down menu is all.

Or, can I suggest a program like Nortan Personal Firewall which allows you block cookies, java, javascript, and activex from every site you don't give permission to use them?

*shrugs*. I suppose I could do that. Right now, I use the 2 browser system. I have one browser (Netscape) that I use an older version of (4.5) that I'm used to and which I have customized all over the place. (No cookies, no Java, no JavaScript, no flash, don't load images, etc.) Primarily, I have it customized to enhance privacy and keep loading times down. The other browser (IE) I keep reasonably updated and download plug-ins for sometimes. I use Netscape unless there's a page that doesn't seem to be working right or displaying properly, at which point I copy the URL into IE. Kludgy, but it works. I might look into that Norton program eventually, though. I need to install my CD burner, back up my system, and burn a lot of stuff so I can get it off my hard drive before I get any new programs, though. *sigh*. I remember back when hard drives were optional and programs fit on one 5 1/4 floppy. I've just filled up a 6 gig drive almost completely. It's eerie.

Thanks! It's from when I was wearing my Halloween costume, after I played with it in Photoshop to crop it and radically change the color balance. I was quite happy with how it turned out. I'll have to use it somewhere for something.
