Salem-Corvallis? I can't imagine there are too many people in the Salem-Corvallis area who are a) existent, b) going to go, and c) worth going to see.

If I catch the social bug I might go to the one in Portland, too. We'll see. (Like I've ever had anything better to do than meet up with Scary Internet People™ other than hide under my bed ... )

What about all those OSU students? Well, I have to defend Corvallis a little, as it's my hometown. I know it's really kinda pathetically small, though. Salem, I don't know, maybe the govner'd like to come.

Hope you don't mind me commenting in your personal journal, decided to check out your journal through the Portland Community. :)

You know, as far as Scary Internet PeopleTM, I have to say, I do not make it a habit of meeting people online. Er, should I say I do not get online to meet people...OK I do not know if this is comint out right but I think you know what I mean :P Anyway, the example I was going to give is that on a MUD I play on, I have met several people from there (and these people are from all over the world!), when you are on a lot and chatting and what not you feel like you know them a little...I can see where the same may apply here, even though it is not a real-time chat and maybe not as often.

I signed up to go, time permiting. I think it would be neat to put faces to the names of people I read about daily!
