Well, I'm home from school for probably the last time, unless I actually apply to grad schools eventually. Graduation was ok, I guess. It was way too stuffy and formulaic for me. I don't like ceremonies that have basically the same form no matter who is participating in them, I guess. Also, I have a weird tan line now.

My 21st birthday is tomorrow. Jeff's actually going to be able to come this year (usually he's back home by now). That's pretty cool. Other than that, the guest list is almost identical to last year's, except [livejournal.com profile] qousqous is gone on his bike trip and I haven't invited Jason since I haven't seen him in quite a while and don't have any contact information for him. I'm also not sure I can get ahold of Io in time. I suck.

I'm trying to figure out what to do for choir next year. I'm not sure if I suck too much to get in to any good group. I probably do. I'm trying to decide if I should audition for groups like ORS and the symphonic choir anyway. I'm not sure what kind of group I belong in. I should have taken voice lessons this year. ^_^;;; I've been in choirs for most of my life, but I just don't think I'm at the level I need to be at for adult groups, and I'm not quite sure what I should do about it, since joining a church choir isn't an option for me and I want to keep singing. Bleh.

I'm going to quit typing now, since I'm on dad's computer (mine is still packed) and he has everything set up differently. It's driving me nuts. I'm also not sleeping well, because we have starlings nesting right above my room and they're so damn loud. Also I have no curtain for part of my window. Bleh. Need to move out. Need job. Need choir. Need a goddamn nap. Need to kill starlings first...

Happy Birday (well, allmost). You could think about being in a church choir, those require relativly little effort and are fun to be in. But, that also might be hard since you're not too relidgious. If you wanted to join a gospel choir in one of the black churches downtown, I'd do it with you... Good luck with everything! I'll wish you happy birthday in person when I get into town, and maybe we can go to Mcminimins and stay until after 10. Take care.

Happy birthday. Im not exactly sure about chior, being a nonchior person.. but I would guess that there are some small chamber groups in which you could start that arent religious oriented. Just a matter of finding them. If not that, could always do backup singing for groups in clubs or background chanting for the local cult. Which ever you find and decide to do, goodluck with it. Go you in wanting to stick with it. (please excuse this.. whatever it is Im saying.. Im tired, got my last final in two hours, havent slept very much last few days and just got done typing up my last humanities paper that made no sense. Its all going to be o..k.. or so I keep telling myself that. Best of luck with everything and have a good birthday. I'll be contacting you sometimes soon about the going to talk to you later thing.)
