Pagan Faire?

I just got an email that Heather Alexander will be performing at Pagan Faire:

Heather will be MC'ing the whole day, and performing intermittently,
and at 4:00pm.


So anyway, Sister Spirit aren't exactly the kind of pagans I run with (for more reasons that I feel like enumerating here), but they tend to have good music at these things and it's only $5. Doesn't look like they're going to have Morris dancers this year though, which is sad (of course, Heather Alexander isn't on their posted schedule either, so who knows). They're not at their usual venue either. I wonder what happened, but not enough to actually try to find out.

Anyone want to come with me?

Incidentally, my school at the Society for Creative Anachronism are putting together a (probably small) RenFaire here. Unfortunately it's April 30th or 31st, so I'll be in the Canada when it happens for a writing conference.

Alas, I then took an online hiatus due to a final. If you still want to work something out call me on my cell phone. I'm heading up to Portland tonight after a party and staying for spring break so I don't know if it'll work out to carpool, though.

I like Heather Alexander's music, but unfortunately she and the PaganFaire have become rather negative associations in mind...

Long story short, I went with this friend who was always irresponsible, and the next year she called me in March saying "OMG I haven't had my period since December". Bad memories.

However, I may give it another try if those women who used to run Forces of Nature might be there.
