Someone finally noticed
Jun. 5th, 2004 05:49 pmI just went to Office Depot to pick up a letter opener for my grandmother (it's her birthday, and she doesn't have one and thought mom's was cool last time we were over there) and the clerk actually noticed that I'd crossed "God" off of the "In God We Trust" on the back of all of my money. That's the first time that's happened, and I've been doing it for about two years. So yay, I guess. I'm not really doing it to get noticed, but I was wondering if anyone ever would. I think the fact that I was paying with $8 in ones had a lot to do with it.
I have an hour to bake a cake for grammy's party tomorrow before people get here for my barbecue tonight. I am so organized. This is clearly why I'm on LiveJournal right now.

If I get my other computer set up on the internet again and have time, though, I'll probably start taking requests for custom icons. I don't have any way to make animated ones, though, so I don't know how popular I'd really be at that. I guess I wouldn't know unless I tried. Anyway, I'll be sure to let you know if I manage to get that together.

Gimp is great, but just not the same. Now I dual boot, and use Photoshop for all of my image alteration/icon making needs. :)
