Mom wants me to invite Yasu over so he can see all the trick or treaters (he's over from Japan for 6 months), so I thought I'd invite a few other people over too. I'm not planning any kind of big wacky party, just hanging out, handing candy to small children, eating some kind of food (pizza seems likely), possibly watching some movie or other such things. My dad will be home as well, so this won't be a loud party or else it won't be a late party. It probably won't be either. Anyway, if anyone wants an excuse to leave their house on Halloween but feels too old to go trick or treating and too boring to go to a real party, you can come over if you want. Costumes optional but encouraged, which is always true for visiting my house.

Maybe, if you still don't object to LiveJournal stalkerage and nothing more local presents itself between now and then (not likely), I may take you up on that. I think I have spent my last two Oregonian Halloweens ruthlessly hiding in my room.

Well, you could come to both, since they are in the same part of town and I bet mine is mostly earlier in the evening. However, bear in mind that if you want to Make A Good Impression™ on my dad, you'd probably want a different type of costume that I think you had in mind for

macavite's. You could revert to elementary school and wear a sweater or something over it, though, I guess (or didn't kids pull the "magical outfit change when they got to school" nonsense where you went?). Or decide that my dad's opinion of you doesn't matter, although I prefer him to have warm fuzzies about my friends since that makes my life easier.

On the other hand, I won't be at all offended if you just go to

macavite's. I plan on a very mellow event, and I know you're a high-energy person. I'd hate for you to be bored when you could be doing something fun, and you can always hang out with people at my house at a different time when you wouldn't be forsaking free booze.

I had to change my costume anyway. My corset doesn't fit anymore. Now I'm gonna be a punk devil, because i have a red plaid punky skirt ;P

I'm actually thinking more along the lines of starting at Macavite's and ending up at your place. I've been tired a lot lately and I don't think I'll know many people at Macavite's, so I'll probably want to skip out of there earlier.

Ok, but mine's probably going to end pretty early since my dad will be home and want to sleep (like 2100 or so, although I really have no idea). Mine's more of a early dinner and fuss at the cute little kids at the door party. On the other hand, if that works for you, you're totally welcome at my party. Mostly, I just finished watching "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown", and I don't want you yelling at me the way Sally yelled at Linus. ^_^;
