Dad's at Ann's tonight

Anyone want to come over? I'd like to inflict either My So-Called Life episodes or a children's movie, probably either Dark Crystal or Care Bears, on a group of people. I might be swayed into other options, though. We have Babylon 5, X-Files, The Prisoner, Star Trek Next Generation, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Kindred: The Embraced, Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy and probably a bunch of other tv shows lying around too, not to mention a large and strange collection of movies, including many James Bond movies, which I'd also be up for. Anyway, anyone want to come over, eat popcorn, and watch the noisy flickering box with me? Depending on your age and whether or not dad finished them off, there may also be margaritas involved.

As it turns out, I am too lame to keep track of the time, and now it is late enough that I don't want to start things. Eventually, I will do this again, but with more planning so it will actually happen.

Care Bears is not a scary movie. It is full of wholesome messages like don't read books because they might contain evil spirits, but let bears abduct you because it will be very fun.

It didn't end up happening anyway, for I am too lame to keep track of the time. However, don't let being a Creepy LiveJournal Stranger stop you. A not-insignificant portion of my social network is comprised of former Creepy LiveJournal Strangers these days, and none of them have set the house on fire yet. The Lives An Hour Away part, however, is strictly between you and your gas budget. Anyway, maybe next time.
