Concert fun whee

I went to go hear Heather Alexander tonight. It was lots of fun. There are few things cuter than a small child (still-in-a-high-chair small) singing along with all his heart to a drinking song. (The same small child singing along to March of Cambreadth is right up there, though.)

Anyway, I had fun. Mom bought one of her CDs (I already have all of her CDs). Some of you should really come with me one of these times.

My dad just got home, so I need to get off the computer. Tomorrow, I will catch up with my friends list and see who added me after the meetup.

How often does she perform down there?

Fortnightly, it seems. She'll be gone in either October or November (I forget which) because she is going to Europe, though. I'm lucky that mom shares my taste in music and is willing to go with me all the time. (It's just a suggested $5 tip for cover, so it's really not that expensive to do on a regular basis. We (Mom, Tom, and I) generally just throw $20 in the tip jar and also buy dinner, and it's certainly cheaper than a movie or something.)

Hey, I still need to get a motorcycle helmet to you. Weren't you going to have a party-of-some-kind? Or did I already miss it? My weekends are starting to get full, so keep me posted. If you're not having a party/I already missed it/it's on a weekend I've already filled, we'll have to figure out another plan, I guess.

Well, it hasn't happened yet, I'm moving on this saturday, so I'll keep everyone posted. I'm thinking it will probbaly be in (early?) september, if anyone will really come...

Cool. Keep me posted. I'm busy the weekend of the 13th, but the rest hasn't filled up yet. I plan to have a party at some point myself, but I haven't set a date or anything yet. I'll come if I can and if I can crash overnight or have someone to split driving with (I don't feel up to driving to Seattle and back in a day with how tired I've been since starting work). Also, let me know your new address for silly-postcard-sending purposes.

I would have come, but I have a feeling flying back to portland would put the expense of the evening quite a bit over the $5 tip. ;)
