Battle Hunter is certainly one of the best PSX games, especially since most of my friends hate games that involve having good reaction time and are therefore sick of all of my other multiplayer games (I also recently picked up Top Shop, which was released by the same company as Battle Hunter, and it looks like it might be good for my group of friends as well). Thank you for joining the GURPS community.
Don't worry about approaching people who list the same interest with you if you are only the second person to list it. I know I'd been waiting for *months* for someone else to list Battle Hunter as an interest. (Interests don't show as links on your userinfo page until two people list them, they're just text until then.) ^_^
Hmm...I don't know about a Battle Hunter based campaign, because I think a lot of the fun of the game is in the user interface and occasionally unclear things in the game itself. (I remember how long it took me to figure out what they were talking about with the disks getting you backgrounds. I kept thinking it had something to do with the BGMs.) The setting does have some promise for a cyberpunk game, though. It wouldn't work well for my current group of players, but I've played with some groups where it would.
The greasy eggs of death weren't actually that bad, it was just something where a little bit goes a long way and there were too many of them. (Scotch eggs, if you're curious. A hard boiled egg wrapped in sausage, battered and deep fried.) I think about half an egg would have been tasty, but I had two whole eggs to get through and it was just too much greasy and heavy food, especially for such a hot night.
