It's a bummer that your dad's away, but take this time to really enjoy being at home. :) Being nomadic wears thin after a while.. I'm sure you'll come to like it. ^^
Then again, I shouldn't talk. I move from place to place, and staying in the same domicile for months at a time would annoy me.
