If you can snag some, noise-cancelling headphones are your friend.
Just for during the daytime though; at night you can call the cops :D Or the landlord, I guess.

See, I doubt that noise-canceling headphones would stop the floor from vibrating, so I don't think they'd help as much as they might otherwise.
