Why must I continue to not be made of money?

I want this. I have no justification for this whatsoever.

I would buy that, if it didn’t cost an arm and a leg.

Why do Legos have to be so expensive?

There need to be versions of that for higher mathematics.

See if you can get your work to buy it for you, so you can use it in the classroom?

Then sneak in to the classroom late at night to play with it yourself!

Every once in a while your school might ask you for suggestions of stuff to buy for the classroom/department. Then you have to wait until everyone forgets that it belongs to the school before you take it with you to your next job. Funny thing is, every time I've gotten to "spend" money for the classroom I end up leaving the school before the materials arrive. It's definitely a process.

That's actually a really cool manipulative. It beats the whiteboards, which are great but everyone and their mothers use them. This looks neat!

And here I thought that the school would just buy that sort of thing for you.....
