Don't give up on the costume! Maybe not in the skating tights, but try looking just in the regular tights section. I know I've gotten queen size opaque tights before. Maybe also leggings, I know they make those in my size and bigger, and they are mass more comfortable than tights. Try like Meir and Frank. Good luck!
