That totally sucks. Yeah, all you can do is drop out of the group. You made it through the con. I can relate with the feeling of people talking behind your back, definitely not fun. No good can come of staying, though.

Your experiences in middle school are exactly what will make you a good teacher. You'll be better able to read the kids and can relate to them like other teachers can't. It'll help them to know that someone cares, maybe give them a glimmer of hope. Knowing that someone cares and is on your side is monumental in middle school.
