"Friendly" would be good. I haven't really tried to get Linux running on anything All By Myself since about '99, and it would be nice if it sucked significantly less now. (Mostly, I remember needing to have done a bunch of research on which hardware to buy ahead of time, and failing that swearing a lot and dealing with things not working, which is the part I'd really like to delegate this go 'round.)
